In the late 1980s, we introduced computer aided drafting, this enabled each component to be drawn as a ‘block’ which could be picked up and placed from a library improving efficiency.

As technology began to evolve, in 2007 our Middle East division created and launched RMDK08 to compliment AutoCAD in order to produce 3D drawings. This reduced errors in quantity take-off leading to greater efficiency and accurate pricing for customers.

2D to 3D conversion icon

Automatic conversion of 2D drawings into 3D drawings, enabled by macros developed in house, was rolled out further reducing the time to produce drawings.

In 2013, we started to develop tools to support virtual reality & augmented reality…

...Which led to the creation and build of LocusEye, utilising gaming technology to visualise 3D drawings.
